A driver’s abstract provides the current status of an operator’s license and lists ticket conviction information, any applicable demerit points and suspensions. A driver’s abstract is neither the confirmation of the individual’s driving experience nor the confirmation of the date first licensed.

An abstract can be purchased at Lethbridge Vehicle.

• 3 year regular or commercial abstract – $24.00
• 5 year regular or commercial abstract – $28.00
• 10 year regular or commercial abstract – $34.00

If you are unable to attend the office in person and are having someone else pick up your abstract, you must complete a Driver Abstract Consent form (see below).

If you are unable to attend the office because you are out of the province, you must fill out a Notarized Request for Personal Driving & Motor Vehicle Information Form (see below) and mail this form to our office with a Notarized copy of your ID, payment and return instructions, including your phone number.
